SMOKEY SALMON AND AVOCADO TAR TAR BITES1/2 Lb. Fresh Grade A “sushi” style Atlantic Salmon, chopped into small dice
8 oz. Smoked Salmon, finely chopped1 tsp. Dijon Mustard1 tsp. Chipotle Peppers, En Adobo, finely chopped2 tsp. Capers, liquid removed1/4 c. Scallion, chopped2 tsp. Pickled Ginger, finely chopped1 Tbs. Sesame Oil2 Tbs. EVO1/2 Avocado, small diced24 Edible CupsBlack Sesame Seeds (optional)
In a small mixing bowl add the chopped salmon, smoked salmon, Dijon, EVO, sesame oil, chipotle and ginger. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold together until the ingredients are well blended. Fold in the capers, scallion and avocado. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, about 30 minutes. Remove from the refrigerator and fill the edible cups with about a tablespoon of the mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds. Enjoy!
